Recent investigations of hunting camp burglaries led to the arrest of four suspects on multiple charges.

Jones County Investigator Kenny Gleaton said Christopher Dale Walker, Kari Brook Magouirk, Jeffery Rainey, and Franklin Harrison were arrested Jan. 22.

Gleaton said he received a call about outstanding warrants for Walker and that he was a person of interest in a hunting camp burglary in Wilkinson County.

“We developed information that Mr. Walker was hanging out at a residence in Jones County that had suspected meth activity,” he said.

The investigator said Jones County investigators followed up on that information and made contact with Walker. He was arrested on the warrants and was found in possession of meth and property that was stolen from a Jones County hunting camp. That property was a television set.

Gleaton said Walker was accompanied by Magouirk, and both were arrested and charged with possession of meth and theft by receiving stolen property. He said Magouirk was also charged with possession of Alprazolam and has a parole hold.
