Golf Hounds split with Ola

Jones County split with Ola in a golf match at Georgia National last Wednesday.

The boys fell 167-174, but the Lady Hounds won 151-165.

The Greyhounds’ Drew Dobson was low medalist with a 40. He was followed by Zach Haney with a 42, Cole Evans with a 45 and Brannen Meadows with a 47. Also playing for Jones County were Storm Vaughn with a 48 and Kolton McNeal with a 49.

Ola’s scores were Justin Roberts 41, Brayton G. 42, Mark Porporino 42, Thomas Bibens 42, Dax Oliver 47 and Gavin Woodie 59.

For the Lady Hounds, Charli Justice shot 49, Kensley Brown 51 and Mo Veal 51.

Ola’s scores were Halli Lyons 43, Georgia Griffin 55 and Madi Phelps 67.

Last Thursday’s match against Mary Persons at Forsyth Country Club was cancelled due to rain.
