The Gray Station Lady Hounds finished the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record to earn a top seed heading into the Central Georgia Middle School Athletic League playoffs.

The Lady Hounds downed cross-county rival Clifton Ridge 14-2 last Tuesday and Fort Valley 15-0 on Thursday to finish the regular season.

Gray Station will host Carver Road of Griffin, a fourth seed, in the opening round of the playoffs next Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the high school field.

Clifton Ridge also advances to the playoffs, as a third seed. The Lady Cougars, who blanked Byron 16-0 in their final game, will play at Upson-Lee, a second seed, next Tuesday.

Autumn Land pitched a perfect game no-hitter for the Lady Hounds against Fort Valley, and Lauren Carr and MacKenzie Kilpatrick tripled to lead the offense.

Tori Dover held Clifton Ridge to three hits and one walk for the victory in Tuesday’s game.
