Investigator Kenny Gleaton said four women were in the home Sept. 26 when two assailants forced entry into the front door. One of the men had a gun. He said the men demanded cash and medicine.
“They fled with cash, meds, the women’s phones, and a laptop,” Gleaton said.
The investigator said the victims had to go next door to call the sheriff’s office. He said they described the suspects as black males, and one was wearing a blue hoodie. He said there was no vehicle description.
Gleaton said no one was harmed in the home invasion. It took place between 3-4 p.m. and the house was in a populated area.
“They were in and out of the house in a few minutes. We are following up on several leads,” he said.
