The Greyhounds snapped a six-game losing streak with a pair of shutout victories last week, whipping Washington County 7-0 on Tuesday and Mary Persons 3-0 on Friday to improve to 6-6-1 on the season.

Dennis Woolfolk had three goals and three assists to lead the Jones County boys against Washington County. Adam Sole added a goal and two assists, Ethan Oulsnam, Caleb Meeks and Jacob Roberts scored a goal each, and Cade Brownlee had an assist.

Against Mary Persons, Sole had a goal and an assist, Meeks and Dustin Mosteller also scored goals, and Oulsnam and Matt Johnson had assists.

The Lady Hounds also won against Washington County, with Kaitlyn Towers scoring all three goals in the 3-0 victory. Meghan Brennan had an assist. The Jones County girls, now 4-8 on the season, did not play Mary Persons, which did not field a team Friday.
