Keever Walker was 3-for-4 with two doubles, Tracy Jackson was 2-for-3 with a double and a home run and Austin Harrison was 2-for-3 to lead the attack.

The Hounds followed that with a 10-7 win over Veterans in their home opener on Thursday. Tanner Goff was 3-for-4 and Jackson was 2-for-4 with another home run.

Jones County visited Mary Persons on Monday and came home with a 10-2 victory. Ethan Rutland picked up the win. Walker went 3-for-3, and Goff, Harrison Bryant, Dee Thomas and Dylan Still all went 2-for-3 for the Hounds.
