GRAY: Kermit Lake Gore, 74, passed away Dec. 25, 2013, at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, at Lowe’s Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, in the chapel of Lowe’s, with interment in Dodges Chapel cemetery. The Rev. Terry Hedden officiated.

Mr. Gore was the son of the late Willard Pickney and Mary Magdalene Housand Gore, and was married to Judy Clements Gore of Gray. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Gore, and a brother, Kent Smith.

He had retired from Keebler in Macon and was in the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Gore of Gray; one son, Kermit A. (Karen) Gore of Gray; three grandchildren, Spencer Gore, Kaley Gore and Madelyn Gore; brothers and sisters, Glenda (Carlton) Burnett of Lumber City, Sammy (Sherry) Smith of Lumber City, Gary R. (Jan) Smith of Lumber City, William W. (Marie) Smith of Alamo and Donna (Ronnie) Jones of Lumber City.
