JONES COUNTY: William Timothy “Bubba” Still, 59, peacefully left this world on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. The family greeted friends on Sunday, Feb. 16, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street in Macon. Graveside services were held on Monday, Feb. 17, 2:00 p.m., at Caney Creek Cemetery in Juliette. Elders Franklin Bryant and Wesley Watkins officiated.

Mr. Still was born April 6, 1954, in Fort Valley. He was known as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was retired from Walthall Oil Company and was a member of the Masonic Order. He will be remembered most for his intelligence, wit, and love of building cars and homes. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Myrtle Still, and his brother, Council Still.

Mr. Still is survived by his wife, Marlene Still; two sons, Josh (Amy) Still and Matt (Amanda) Still, both of Gray; a daughter, Brooke Still of Gray; five grandchildren, Dylan, Anna, Wyatt, Callie and Mattalyn, and one on the way; a sister, Shirley Stone of Warner Robins; two brothers, Ray (Barbara) Still of Macon and Wallace (Cyndie) Still of Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The United Hospice Foundation or The Cancer Warriors.
