Mrs. Fowler was born July 4, 1939, in Jones County, and had lived here all her life. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Malone and Lillian Culpepper Malone. She retired from the civil service at Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Plentitude Baptist Church, where she attended the homemaker’s club. Mrs. Fowler was a loving, giving, caring person, and a much-loved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend. She was always doing for others and could be counted on to be there to support her family and friends. She will be forever missed and remembered by all who knew her. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Dawson Fowler; brother, Frank Malone; sister, Jean Hopkins; and son-in-law, Wayne Sanders.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughters, Marcia (Keith) Braswell of Warner Robins, Myra Sanders of Byron and Margaret (Derek) Padgett of Cochran; sisters, Edna (Randy) Murphy of Gray and Jane Gordon of Kathleen; brother, Marvin (Clara) Malone of Gray; grandchildren, Lauren (Brooks) Gray and Tyler Padgett, all of Cochran, William, Melissa, Lillian, Rebecca, Matthew, Susanna and Phillip Braswell, all of Warner Robins, Robin (Rick) Oliver of Forsyth, and Leslie (Bryant) Skipper of Macon; and great-grandchildren, Makenly and Emmy Gray, Regan Oliver and Tate and Laney Skipper.
