GRAY: Cora Mary Randall May Jackson Montgomery, 86, formerly of Dunlap Road in Milledgeville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at her home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home in Gray, with Hoyt Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray.

Mrs. Montgomery, the last of 10 children, was born to the parentage of the late William P. Randall and Rosa Sanford Randall on Oct. 15, 1926, in Washington County, and had lived in Gray for the past 10 years, having previously lived in Milledgeville. She was the mother of 10 children, worked as a textile worker for Meadows Textiles, and in her last 10-15 years, her health had declined. Her daughter, Arine M. Adams, and her nurse, Julie Lloyd, had been her constant and daily caretakers. Mrs. Montgomery has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of whom Derral M. May had been the right and left hand in her daily and yearly care. Mrs. Montgomery has many nieces and nephews. Charlene G. Waller had been her sitter, when needed.
