MACON: Sharon Gail Huggins Morris, 66, of Forsyth Street, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at her residence. A service of remembrance was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home in Gray.

Mrs. Morris, the daughter of James Foster Huggins and Sybil Irene Taylor Huggins, was born on Oct. 10, 1947, in Pensacola, Fla., and had lived in Macon for the past 15 years. After completing her education, she devoted her life to making a home for her family. Mrs. Morris enjoyed watching old television shows, working word search puzzles, playing bingo, reading, and spending time with all of her family and friends.

Mrs. Morris is lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tammi Morris of Gray, Eric and Lisa Morris of Cantonment, Fla., and Michael and Deseree Morris of Quantico, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Bill Davis of Newnan and Joyce Huggins of Destin, Fla.; and by her grandchildren, Zak, Zoie, Jackie, Ivey, Rosa, Brody and Luke.
