Talented local ‘cats’ take stage

Jones County was well represented at Theatre Macon’s Youth Actors Company’s recent presentation of The Aristocats Kids.

Elizabeth Morgan Pecorilli, Lacie Kunselman, Callie Hamilton, and Dorian Underwood-Smith were among the cast members in the production. The musical ran from Sept. 22-30.

The Youth Actors Company began about 20 years ago and is geared toward youth ages 13-19. 

Auditions for YAC’s next production, Robin Hood, will take place Nov. 17 and 18. More information is available on Theatre Macon’s website, www.theatremacon.com.

Lacie and Elizabeth played the parts of geese, Abigail and Amelia Gabble, in the production.

Lacie is the 10-year-old daughter of Dave and Patti Kunselman and is in the sixth grade at Mount de Sales Academy. Elizabeth is the 11-year-old daughter of Melissa and Aldo Pecorilli. She is in the sixth grade at Gray Station Middle School.
