The Greyhounds fielded three teams for the tournament, two made up of players who will be competing for spots on the junior varsity and middle school teams next season, and one of those who will be vying for positions on the varsity.
The two JV teams were a combined 8-2 in the Shootout, and the varsity team was undefeated in four games.
“I thought our guys played great,” coach Barry Veal said. “We had a chance to see a lot of the younger guys, some who will still be in middle school next year and others who will be on the JV or ninth grade teams here at the high school. There are some talented young players coming up through the ranks.
