Make his day?

Clint Eastwood’s production company made Jones County native Donne’ Norman’s year last week when he was chosen to play an extra in filming of Eastwood’s new film, “Trouble With the Curve,” which shot scenes in Macon last week.

Norman, who played junior varsity baseball at Jones County, then went on to play at First Presbyterian in Macon before returning to graduate from Jones County in 2007, was among several hundred young men, ages 18-30, who auditioned for parts as baseball players at Luther Williams Field on Feb. 18.

“They had us throw, swing the bat and do other things to see if we looked like baseball players,” he said.

They took his name and phone number and said they would contact him if he were chosen.
