Officer Lovick responded to Turnerwoods Road in reference to suspicious activity. The complainant said that the previous night her daughter had complained that someone was outside her bedroom, knocking on her window. The complainant said this has happened several times over the course of the summer. She has seen what she believed to be a juvenile male riding a bicycle away from the scene. The officer said he would make a request for extra patrols in the area.

Sgt. McCollum was on Gray Highway when he clocked a vehicle traveling 63 mph in a 45-mph zone. The sergeant initiated a traffic stop, and upon approaching the vehicle, he noticed that the driver appeared to be very nervous. McCollum called for a K-9 unit, and Officer Kitchens arrived on the scene. The driver consented to the search, and the officers found numerous marijuana shavings throughout the vehicle, as well as some prescription medication. The offender was taken into custody, and his vehicle was impounded. He was charged with speeding, possession of schedule III drugs, and possession of drugs not in the original container.

Deputy Hathaway was dispatched to Griswoldville Road in reference to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival the deputy found a minivan on fire. The fire department arrived and put out the fire. The tag to the vehicle was found intact, and a check of it showed that the van was reported stolen out of Macon five days earlier.
