Gray Station beats Lamar
The Gray Station Lady Hounds defeated Lamar County 10-7 on the road last Thursday.
“We hit the ball very well, but we struggled getting our bunts down,” coach Mandy Vaughn said. “And we made four silly errors. That is what seems to be keeping games close for us. We commit errors that come back to bite us, but we are working really hard to make those minor adjustments so those errors will hopefully diminish or go away completely.”
Madie Findlay led the team at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. The Lady Hounds finished with nine hits and eight RBIs.
