Nick Wilcox of Warner Robins was the boys’ high school winner, finishing in 17 minutes, 26 seconds, and Mary Persons’ Anna Leigh Nix was the girls’ high school winner with a time of 20 minutes, 41 seconds.
Kate Boland was the Lady Hounds’ top finisher, placing 10th with a 23:10, and Trevor Zukowski was the fastest Jones County boy, finishing 22nd at 19:25.
In the high school team standings, Veterans placed first, followed by Heritage, Mary Persons, Warner Robins and Bleckley County. The Jones County boys were 13th.
The Jones County girls placed sixth. Loganville won the team competition, followed by Bleckley County, Veterans, Spalding and Lee County.
Rounding out the top five in the boys’ race were Clay Woolfolk of Veterans at 17:58, Justin Fortner of Loganville at 18:18, Ben Parker of Spalding at 18:30, and Caleb Watson of Mary Persons at 18:40.
