Bibb County offenses were the reason for a bond revocation and the return to jail for a Jones County man.

Clyde Haynes, 58, was on probation in Jones County for charges of theft by taking and criminal trespass May 21, for which he was arrested May 31. He was previously arrested May 7 on charges of DUI alcohol or drugs, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and speeding.

He was granted a $2,000 bond and released on both offenses.

Haynes was back in court Sept. 13 because of two incidents that occurred in Bibb County July 24. Reports of the incidents state he attempted to kick in the door of a Macon residence at approximately 11 a.m. while a woman was still inside. She screamed, and when she said she was calling the police, Haynes allegedly left that house to successfully kick in the door of another. He stole a television at the second house.

An officer in the area who heard the report of the first incident recognized Haynes from the description given and placed him under arrest.

The television was returned to its owner.
