A local couple was sentenced to 10 years probation in Jones County Superior Court last week for multiple charges, including felony theft by taking, drug possession, and traffic charges.

Tina Johnson Yeoman was sentenced Sept. 25 to 10 years for the offense of theft by taking felony, five years each for VGCSA possession dihydrocodeinon, clonazepam, and carisoprodol. All counts to run concurrent for a total of 10 years.

Rodney Daniel Yeoman was sentenced to 10 years for the offense of theft by taking felony, 12 months for the offense of DUI drugs less safe, three years VGCSA possession of carisoplrodol, 12 months each failure to maintain lane and reckless driving, all to run concurrent for a total of 10 years.

The couple also has restitution to pay in the amount of $8,590.

At the time of her arrest, Tina Yeoman was managing a local apartment complex for a realty company, and her husband took care of the maintenance for the apartments.

The Gray Police Department was called in August because ledgers sent to the company did not match the money received, and renters who had receipts for their monthly payments were getting eviction notices.
