After rainy weather washed out Music Under the Stars on Sept. 8, Gray Station Better Hometown is making a return engagement with this family-friendly, outdoor concert for the community at the Jones County Lions Club Fairgrounds on Saturday, Nov. 10. Featuring the Fresh Heat Band out of Macon, the event is sure to be a crowd-pleaser with a wide arrangement of music from rock, country, blues and favorites for all to enjoy.

The Fresh Heat Band, consisting of “Trippin’” Tina Winn, Jarvis “Cowboy” Coach, “Rockin” Robert Demille, Paul “Wild Man” Winn, and Russell “the Tick” Gibson, the band is made up of old friends who feel like they have something for everyone with four of their five members bringing their own unique vocal stylings. Their music spans five decades of great songs by a variety of artists.

Along with great music, Music Under the Stars will also feature the first Indoor Artists Market with local artists Mae Thurston (hand-painted ornaments and small paintings), Jack Thurston (calligraphy), Jan Nutt (hand-knit scarves and hats), and more offering plenty to browse through for pre-holiday shopping fun.
