GRAY: Valerie Highfill Garey, 51, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. A service is taking place Thursday, Dec. 6, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Highway, to give friends and co-workers the opportunity to celebrate her life.

Mrs. Garey was a native of Bibb County and had made her home in Jones County for many years. She was retired from the Jones County Board of Education as a bus driver.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Garey, and a son, Randall K. Garey Jr., of Gray. A number of other friends and relatives also survive.
