Leo Lomm Ross, 33, and Jessica Renae Ross were arrested Dec. 17 and charged with manufacturing of marijuana and are being held without bond pending their first appearance hearings.
Investigator Robert Reece of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department said a search warrant was served on the residence on Ed Ethridge Road at 10 a.m. Monday pursuant to an ongoing investigation.
Reece said he believes the indoor grow is the largest that has been found in the county.
“It’s at the least the most sophisticated,” he stated.
Reece was accompanied in the serving of the search warrant by investigators Jimmy Black and Gerry Nelson. He said officers spent the entire day at the residence removing the illegal plants and related items.
