Vastolvia Decarliet Williams was arrested Dec. 2 and pled guilty to the charges Dec. 13 in Jones County Superior Court.
According to a report of the incident leading to her arrest by Gray Police Officer Jacob Hunnicutt, he responded to a call in reference to a woman bleeding. When he arrived at the scene, he saw a man sitting on the porch bleeding heavily from his nose and mouth.
A few seconds later, the officer said Williams appeared in the doorway, also bleeding from the mouth and nose and her left eye was almost swollen shut. He said both of them appeared to be extremely intoxicated.
Hunnicutt stated she was hysterical, and while he was trying to calm her down, Williams lunged at the man and started stabbing him. With the help of another officer, the offender and victim were separated and Williams was placed in handcuffs.
