Decked in all the trimmings that make this season a joyful one, Lynn Haven Health & Rehabilitation has had an extra dose of holiday cheer as the year draws to a close.

The beginning of the month brought residents an early Christmas gift in the form of MP3 players given by McNair, McLemore & Middlebrooks of Macon. With caroling visits from the likes of students from Gray Elementary School and the Jones County 4-H Program, there is no doubt that each heart was lightened by the generosity of the community that embraces this home away from home for so many Jones Countians.

Spirits continued to soar on Dec.12 as the associates and 94 residents, along with friends and family members, enjoyed their holiday family night.

The chilly evening gave way to the warmth of the fireplace as guests sat and listened to entertainment that included a selection of Christmas songs performed by Lynn Haven associates, as well as guest entertainer Terry Wiggins.

Before all could retire to a true holiday feast prepared in the dining room, everyone was given the treat of having Santa Claus arrive, ready to hear the wishes of the young and the young-at-heart. The greatest of all wishes was certainly answered through the hugs and smiles that were seen as residents were reunited for an evening of fellowship with their loved ones.
