GRAY: Jane Pippin Tanner, 63, of Greene Settlement Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at Bradley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tanner was born April 30, 1949, in Jackson, and had lived in Jones County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Walter Herbert Pippin and Beulah Mae Hardy Pippin. To know her was to love her and she will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. She will be regarded as a special angel watching over those who are left to celebrate her life. Mrs. Tanner was preceded in death by a husband, Gery Hoard; brothers, Douglas Pippin and Asa Pippin; and a nephew, Alan Pippin.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by her sisters, Glenda Kinard and Joan Pickren; partner in life, E.W. Greene; and by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
