MACON: Martha Corinne “René” Davis Lamb, 75, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. A celebration of life service was held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at Real Life Church, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. The Revs. Marcus Lamb and Gary Lamb officiated.

Mrs. Lamb was born on June 27, 1937, in Pitts, the daughter of the late Myrtle Clements Davis and M.C. Davis. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Lamb was the widow of Jimmie F. Lamb and was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Lamb, and brothers, Jimmy Davis, Don Davis and Ronnie Davis. She loved the Lord and was also a Bible School teacher.

Mrs. Lamb is survived by her sons, Marcus (Joni) Lamb of Dallas, Texas, and Gary (Kristie) Lamb of Gray; sister, Lisa McKinley of Pitts; brother, Morris Davis of Pitts; grandchildren, Jonathan (Suzanna) Lamb, Chase Lamb, Rachel Lamb, Rebecca Lamb, and Krista Lamb; great-grandchild, Israel Lamb; and loving companions, her two cats, Maisy and Gracie.
