The Jones County boys were fifth at FPD and ninth in Barnesville.
At the FPD Invitational in Macon last Wednesday, Dumas won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.68 seconds and Standifer won the 400 meters in 59.2 and was second in the 200 meters with a 26.34 to lead the Jones County girls.
The girls’ 4-by-100 relay team was second with a 51.62, and the 4-by-400 team was also second at 4:27.38.
Dumas did even better in Barnesville on Saturday, winning both the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. She ran a 16.31 in the 100 hurdles and broke her own school record in the 300 hurdles with a 47.92.
