MACON: Jo Nell Crumbley, 91, of Fairway Drive, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home in Gray, with a private burial. The Rev. Gary Thomas officiated.

Mrs. Crumbley was born Nov. 27, 1922, in Lafayette, Ala., and had lived in Macon for the past 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Jo Sam Landrum and Gladys Machen Landrum. Mrs. Crumbley was a loving mother, avid gardener, and worked as a seamstress for many years, retiring from Lipson Fabrics. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Franklin Crumbley; two daughters, Rose Davis and Bobbie Barnett; and by a grandson, Chris Barnett.

Mrs. Crumbley is survived by her daughter, Pat Horan; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Peggy Crumbley and Steve and Melva Crumbley; son-in-law, Neil Davis; nine grandchildren; and by 11 great-grandchildren.
