Jones County’s varsity tennis and golf teams swing back into action on Monday after being off for spring break as they gear up for their Region 2-AAAAA tournaments.

The tennis teams are to host Houston County at 4:15 p.m. on Monday in matches that will determine the top seeds from the subregion for the region tournament, which will be April 16 at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center in Macon.

The golf teams play Howard at Healy Point at 3:45 p.m. on Monday and Eagles Landing at Eagles Landings at 3:45 p.m. on April 17 in their final matches before going to Augusta April 21 for the region tournament at Bartram Trail Golf Club.

The soccer playoffs are to begin next week as well, and the region track meet will be in Warner Robins on April 15 and 17.
