Justin Rogers, offensive coordinator for the state champion Griffin Bears last season, will be presented to the Jones County Board of Education at tonight’s meeting for its approval to become the Greyhounds’ new head varsity football coach.

Rogers will replace Dwight Jones, who left last month after six years in Gray to take the head coach’s job at Harris County.

If approved, Rogers will start work at the high school on Monday. A meet and greet session for parents and others in the community is planned for 6 p.m. Monday in the high school cafeteria.
