Destination Gray is a term that has been bantered about in many meetings of local organizations, but it appears a good start on that destination theme opened this month.

This And That Collectibles, owned and operated by Curtis and Misty Smith, opened at 115 W. Clinton St. April 1. That is the location of the former Big Sky restaurant and it has been vacant for a while.

The building was most recently used as an office building for Ready Mix USA.

The structure is currently housing 40 vendors with 20 more on the waiting list. This And That actually opened in Haddock in February but quickly outgrew that location. Curtis said he was interested in the building owned by Ronnie Womack and Phil Bivins and made contact with them.

“We walked through the building, and they were very helpful and receptive to our ideas,” he said.

Misty said they presented the owners with a business plan and a proposal that has been working well.
