The community is invited to pay its final tribute to a woman who served the people of Gray and Jones County for most of her 72 years.

The Changing Stations Ministry, The Jones County Lions Club, and Beta Sigma Pi Sorority are joining together for a bingo and silent auction this Friday, June 13, to help raise money to assist the family of Nancy Pace with a marker for her grave.

The bingo will be held at the Lions Club building on Highway 18E. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the first game begins at 7. A spaghetti dinner will be available for $6 before the bingo begins.

Cash prizes will be awarded at the bingo for each of six games with the final blackout game paying $250 to the lucky winner. Door prizes will be given away throughout the evening and a half-and-half raffle will be held.

Admission for the bingo is $20 for a six-card package, and additional cards may be purchased for each game as well as the final coverall.

Pace passed away March 29 after a lifetime of service to her family and her community. She was remembered during opening ceremonies at the Daylily Festival June 7 for her years of service to Main Street Gray and the annual festival.
