Lt. Johnson met with a complainant who stated that he had reported his vehicle stolen two days earlier in Bleckley County. The complainant got word that the vehicle was in Jones County. It was parked on Cyler Road with damage sustained to the rear. The vehicle was turned over to the complainant.

Sgt. Giltz was dispatched to the area of Highway 22 and Faye Circle in reference to a motorist interfering with a work detail. The subject stated that an inmate starting a chainsaw had caused a rock to fly up and bust his windshield. The officer in charge of the work detail stated that the windshield was previously busted, and he wanted the subject to leave the scene. The subject was advised that a damage to property report would be filed. About 15 minutes after leaving the scene, the sergeant was notified that the subject had returned. The sergeant contacted the subject and told him to leave and if he returned once more, he would be arrested for harassment.

Officer Farley met with a complainant at the sheriff’s department in reference to suspicious activity in the area of Old Clinton Road. The complainant said that someone knocked on her door at 3:30 a.m. When she looked through the peephole, she saw a while male wearing a police uniform with a moustache and glasses. The officer advised the complainant that extra patrols would be carried out in the area.
