Officer Giltz was dispatched to a gas station on West Clinton Street in reference to a gasoline drive-off. The complainant gave a description of the vehicle and its direction of travel. She stated that the driver pumped $20 worth of gas and left without paying for it.

Deputy Pounds clocked a vehicle traveling 75 mph in a 55-mph zone on Gray Highway. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver appeared confused. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle, and a bag of what was believed to be marijuana was found. The offender stated that he did not know the contraband was there, but he also stated that the vehicle belonged to him and no one else ever drove it. The offender was placed under arrest and charged with speeding and possession of marijuana – less than one ounce.

Deputy Harris responded to Griswoldville Road where it was reported that a truck ran into a tree. One of several people standing around the vehicle had a cut on his cheek. When this subject was asked if he was driving the truck, he gave the names of five different people he said were driving. The subject appeared intoxicated. He admitted to drinking and an open container of beer was found in the vehicle. The subject would not admit to driving the vehicle and was taken to the Medical Center for care. The next day, the subject advised that he was driving the vehicle. He was issued a citation for reckless driving and released on bond.
