Charlie Franklin Fountain Jr.

DALLAS, GEORGIA: Charlie Franklin Fountain, Jr., 74, of Dallas-Acworth Hwy., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at a Paulding County area hospital. The family greeted friends from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Graveside services followed at 3:00 p.m. at the cemetery.

Mr. Fountain was born Feb. 27, 1947, to the late Charlie Franklin Fountain, Sr and Mattie Evalee Barnett Fountain. He was a former structural worker for Lockheed Martin and was a carpenter. He was an accomplished artist and was preceded in death by a brother: Steve Fountain and by a great-niece: Madalee Williams.

Mr. Fountain is survived by his wife of forty years: Cynthia Cook; nephew and niece: Shawn Fountain and Shanna Williams; great-nephews and nieces: Farrah Fountain, Brenden Fountain, Jameson Williams and Charlie Williams.
