MACON/ SAVANNAH: Christopher Lee Walls, 47, died Sunday, Feb. 7 at a Macon area hospital. The family greeted friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb.11, at First Baptist Church of Gray. Services followed at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Mr. Walls was born Nov. 21,1973, in Telfair County and was a member of McRae Church of God. Chris was retired from the Federal Correctional Institution, Estill, South Carolina and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #54 in Savannah. Chris loved riding his Harley, traveling, listening to music, eating and meeting new people. He was preceded in death by his father, David Walls and by his grandparents, Sara and Gordon Owens; Cecil Walls and Allene Atkinson.
Survivors include his fiance, Alisha Wilson; mother and stepfather, Karen and Gary Lann; stepmother, Mary Walls; sister, Amy (David) Walls; brothers, Levi Carter and Cecil (Ashley) Walls; step-sisters, Susie (Dusty) Chaney and Becky Arias; and by many nieces and nephews.
