New Damascus Baptist Church of Gray, would like to thank the Bradley-Wayside community for their support of the church’s annual Back to School Bash that was held Saturday, July 28. 54 school bags, filled with supplies, were given out to students. A special thank you goes out to Mr. Alfred Pitts of the Jones County Board of Education and to Deputy Angel Feliciano of the Jones CountySheriff’sDepartment who were on hand to answer questions and concerns of the community about school safety.
Hot dogs and hamburgers were served and there were other activities provided. The church would also like to thank Family Tree Beauty & Barber, Harvey’s of Gray, Charity Benevolent Fund (Larry Manuel), and the Sisters of Queen Esther Chapter of OES for their donations in support of this event. On behalf of Pastor W. E. Greene and First Lady Jennifer Greene, we are wishing all the students a safe, productive, and successful school year and we hope to see you again next year at NDBC Back to School Bash.
