Dezonna Page Ethridge, 90, of Millerfield Road, died Thursday, August 23, at a local nursing home. The family greeted friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m, Saturday, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 26, at Greenwood Baptist Church with interment at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Rev. Johnny McGowan officiated.
Mrs. Ethridge was born June 13, 1928, in Sandersville and had lived in the middle Georgia area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Soloman Andrew Page and Anna Mae Tanner Page. Mrs. Ethridge was an active member of Shurlington Baptist Church and was a co-owner of Bibb Auto Parts in Macon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Champ D. Ethridge Sr., owner of Bibb Auto Parts; grandchildren, Monica Ethridge, Chad Ethridge, and Amy Ethridge; four sisters, and by two brothers.
Mrs. Ethridge is survived by her sons Robert A. Ethridge (Alicia) and Champ D. Ethridge Jr.; grandchildren and spouses, Ashton Gore (Jim), Adam Ethridge, Carsen Ethridge, Patrick Clifton, Amanda Cleary (Steve), Dawn Parkerson(Caleb), Dallas Harper, and Sidney Schewe; niece, Belinda Morgan; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
