Local law enforcement officers blocked off the top end of Valley Road early Sunday morning after multiple neighbors heard multiple gunshots and dialed 911.
A perimeter was formed around the house, located several hundred feet off of North Jefferson Street, and several officers drew their service weapons.
Marquarius Dravell Jones, 28, ultimately walked out of the front door and was arrested without incident. He was charged with one count of reckless conduct.
Twenty-six different .9 millimeter shell casings ultimately were recovered in the yard, although no property damage was reported to any existing properties.
Jones previously spent 120 days in the county jail following a November 2018 arrest on charges of false imprisonment, PUI and obstruction of an officer. Those charges stemmed from an incident on Hardwick Street. Jones also was arrested in 2013 and charged with two counts of felony obstruction of an officer.
