Fred B. Woods, 52, of Gray, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 17. A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Bradley Baptist Church. The Reverend Steve Johnson officiated.
Fred is survived by his wife, Traci Woods; one son, Zachary Woods; one daughter, Alyssa Woods; parents, Ann Dickson and Fred Woods Jr.; two sisters, Christine Woods, Jami (Brian) Hurt; brother, Josh (Lauren) Woods; mother and father-in-law, Larry (Renie) Thompson; brother-in-law, Russell (Jody) Thompson; aunts, Debbie (Butch) Keaton, Drema (Erland) Tomczyk; nieces and nephews, Carter, Griffin Haley, Jessica, Emory, Eden and Ellis; grandmother, Margaret Dickson; and cousin, Chad (Jessica) Keaton.
Fred attended Bradley Baptist Church with his wife and children. He loved his job and his extended family at Hart’s Mortuary. Fred was a sports fanatic; he loved NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon, golf, fishing, anything UGA and his cigars with a good tumbler of whiskey, but most of all, he loved God and his family.
