Helen Louise Hardy Kilgore

JONES COUNTY: Helen Louise Hardy Kilgore, 100, of Old Clinton Road, died Monday, March 15, at a local nursing home. The family greeted friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, at Greenwood Baptist Church. Services followed at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Kim Washburn and Rev. Ryan Wood officiated. Immediate family only interment followed at Macon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kilgore was born May 4,1920, in Lizella and had lived in the middle Georgia area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late James Hardy and Philemonia Rocquemore Hardy. She was a charter member of Greenwood Baptist Church and was a seamstress, retiring from Lipson’s Fabrics.

Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her children, Barbara Kilgore Wood, James Philimon “Phil” Kilgore, and William Samuel “Billy” Kilgore; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Greenwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 3400 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.
