Jones County High School competition cheer team members Ronnie Bonner, Abigail Kimes, Elaina Renko and Landry Fletcher were recently selected to represent Jones County and Georgia at a summer camp at the University of Hawaii.

Bonner, Kimes and Fletcher accepted the invitation and are excited to attend this camp and learn different techniques used for cheerleading around the United States, Jones County coach Lelin Holt reported.

“Along with learning about cheering, they will have the chance to visit places around Hawaii. This is an amazing opportunity for this group, but it is costly,” she said.

If anyone is interested in helping to sponsor their trips, please contact Holt at lelin. holt®jones.k12.ga.us.

“The cheer program thanks the community for its continuous support,” Holt said.

The Greyhounds have had several team members sign with colleges in recent years.
