Jones County had the type of homecoming teams dream of, scoring touchdowns six of the first seven times it had the ball to demolish Woodland-Stockbridge 45-6 Friday night in Gray.
The Greyhounds also forced five turnovers to complete their domination and improve to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in Region 4-5A. Woodland dropped to 1-3 and 0-2.
Hunter Costlow passed for four touchdowns, all in the first half as the Greyhounds raced to a 42-6 lead.
The Greyhounds substituted liberally in the second half, which was played with a running clock as a mercy measure due to Jones County's big lead.
Lu Woolfolk was crowned homecoming queen at halftime.
