GORDON: Linda “Lou” Lineberger, 52, of Gordon, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 10. A memorial service was held at Hart’s, Jones County Chapel, Saturday, July 18, at 12:00 p.m. Because of the recent concerns with COVID-19, the family respectfully asked those in attendance to maintain social distancing and wear a mask. Donations may be made in Linda’s honor to Jones County Animal Services, 1015 Monticello Highway, Gray, GA 31032.

Linda Lineberger was born to Elaine Adams and the late Robert Lineberger. She had a 22-year long career with Delong’s Gizzard Equipment, where she took pride in her work and always went above and beyond in all facets of her position. Lou loved her family tremendously. She especially enjoyed early Saturday morning breakfast with her great-niece. She also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and learning how to play guitar. She adored her animals.

Ms. Lineberger was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lineberger. She is survived by her mother, Elaine Adams; her three sisters, Nancy Branch, Jill Adams, and Erin Warnock; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Chelsea Lyman, Shelby Huckeba, Olivia Warnock, Sydney Adams, Aubrey Adams, Rayneigh Huckeba, Elam Huckeba, Phillip Branch, and Juniper Lyman.
