BRUNSWICK: Minor W. Pryor, 66, of Brunswick and formerly of Gray and Macon, departed this life Wednesday, June 5 at his residence. Memorial services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick. Chaplain Gareth Alcott officiated.

Born December 11, 1952 in Macon to the late Walter D. Pryor Sr. and Lois W. Pryor, he was a veteran of The U.S. Air Force. Mr. Pryor had been a resident of Glynn County since 2001, moving from Gray. He was a member of St. Simons United Methodist Church and was employed at The Frederica Club on St. Simons Island. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, cooking and was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter D. Pryor Jr.

Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Carla R. Pryor of Brunswick; two children, Kate Pryor Lehman, and John Carlton Pryor and wife Heather; and a grandson Ryan Carlton Lehman, all of Brunswick.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home had been entrusted with arrangements.
