EATONTON: Mildred Winnie Miller, 99, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at a local nursing home. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16. Graveside was at Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Maxie Threatt officiated.
Mrs. Miller was born Oct. 8, 1919, in Jones County and had lived in Eatonton for the past 16 years. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Whidby and Lemma Winnie Kitchens Whidby. Mrs. Miller was the oldest surviving member of Haddock Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Winnie Jean Davis and by two grandchildren, Ricky Limbough and Vicki Stephens.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Grady and Marie Sanders; grandchildren and spouses, Sandy and Van Dillard; Ron and Myrna Sanders; and John Sanders; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
