Paul Floyd Brennaman Jr. passed away Friday, Feb. 28. A memorial service was held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at Hart’s Jones County Chapel. The Reverends Jason Dillard and John Haney officiated. The family greeted friends following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gray United Methodist Building Fund, 117 S. Jefferson Street, Gray, GA 31032.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Martha Brennaman; his first wife, Fraley Washburn Brennaman; sister, Phyllis Brennaman; and brother, Robert Brennaman.

He was a member of Gray United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was also a member of the Trustee Committee, Pastor Parrish Committee, Nominating Committee, and a member of the Sunshine Sunday school class for over 40 years. He was an active member of Walk to Emmaus and Emmaus Region Group. Mr. Brennaman was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Korea. He was retired from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout.

Paul is survived by his wife of 16 years, Peggy Moore Brennaman of Gray; daughter, Tara (Todd) Robinson of Gray; son, Paul (Robyn) Brennaman III of Marietta; grandchildren, Brannen Robinson and Dawson Robinson, both of Gray, and AnnaKate Brennaman, Millie Brennaman, and Lucy Brennaman, all of Marietta; and his beloved dog, Ziva.
