“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have Isuccouredthee:behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation,” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Probably the biggest lie Satan uses to keep people from being born again is the lie of tomorrow. Tomorrow you can be saved. Wait until tomorrow. Satan is hoping you die before tomorrow comes so that you die lost. And when tomorrow does come and you are still alive, Satan will repeat the lie that you always have tomorrow to be saved. Tomorrow.

The cemeteries and obituaries are full of people who believed they had tomorrow to be saved. But they ran out of tomorrows. They bought Satan’s lie, and they died still in their sins, now forever lost in Hell. No, you don’t always have a tomorrow. No where in Scripture are any of us, saved or unsaved, old or young, promised a tomorrow.

Hear well, “now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation”. Today, this very moment as you read this, is the time to be saved. This day, not tomorrow, is the day of salvation. You may never have a tomorrow, so make sure of your salvation through faith in Jesus today!

Yes, the cemeteries and obituaries contain people whodiedwithout Christ, but so also do they contain many people who died in Christ. These saved ones made sure of their salvation and didn’t put it off for a tomorrow. Now Heaven, with its wondrous joys in the very presence of God, is their eternal home; their sins washed away by Jesus’ precious blood.

Today is the day of salvation. Not a tomorrow that may never come. Be saved today.
