As I continue to be thankful in my year long gratitude journey, I am especially thankful during this crazy, uncertain time for my health and my family. Being so isolated can be difficult and drive you stir crazy, but there are two men that have worked hard in keeping as much normalcy in the lives of the middle school boys at First Baptist Church as they can.
Frank Sweatt and Damian Graham continue to do weekly Sunday School classes with the boys via Zoom. My oldest is somewhat of a handful and is difficult to contain at times, but these two men are a blessing.
My son has loved them, goes on and on about how wonderful they are, doesn’t want to miss Sunday school with them, and tells me how they are the best at bringing different view points to a story.
When social distancing began, my son couldn’t understand how they could take him away from his Sunday School class. He was not impressed. My son doesn’t complement people much, so for him to give these two men glowing reviews week after week and year and after year must mean they are pretty special, and I am very thankful that he has them in his life.
