Tommy Cline Bloodworth Sr., age 77, of Milledgeville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17. Funeral services for Tommy Bloodworth Sr. were conducted Friday, Nov. 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville.

Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the Williams Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 20, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A native and lifelong resident of Milledgeville, Tommy was born on Oct. 18,1943 to the late Cline Perry Bloodworth and the late Lillian Quinn Bloodworth. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Bonner and Linda Wagner; by two brothers, Steve Bloodworth and Bobby Bloodworth; and by two nephews, Robbie Bloodworth and Todd Fountain. Tommy had served in the National Guard Reserves, and had been a firefighter with the Central State Fire Department. Tommy loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed playing guitar and fishing, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Carol Bloodworth of Milledgeville; his sons, Jeff (Terri) Bloodworth and Tommy (Charlotte) Cline “Tony” Bloodworth Jr.; his five grandchildren, Craig Bloodworth, Brandon Bloodworth, Ashley Davey, Shawn Bloodworth, and Alyssa Bloodworth ; and his five great-grandchildren, Makayla Bloodworth, Sophia Grace Bloodworth, Taum Bloodworth, C.J. Bloodworth, and Addison Davey.

The family has asked that those who wish, make Memorial Contributions to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 265 Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Road, Gordon, GA 31031.
